Mictrack 4G GPS Tracker MT600 Feedback

alexthefifth4 years ago

@Peter Jombík

I can see valid data for these variables when I connect to MT600 via USB:
-Temperature
-Internal Battery Voltage
-Car Battery Voltage

I'm wondering whether it may be possible to force the MT600 to send this data via TCP packets to traccar (traccar currently supports this data but the MT600 is not sending it)

Peter Jombík4 years ago

@alexthefifth that data is not sended by mt600. only mt600plus send it...

very low chance to update it by Mictrack

I think I saw some Tlt2h models have support for OTA upgrade of firmware. Would be nice if Mictrac released it

22, remote upgrade instructions

For example:! -0,000 Description: When the TLT-2H receiving the order to confirm the
user password is correct, the automatic restart and automatically log on FTP server

Note: FTP address is stored within the machine
2), instruction format:! - User password, FTP address, user name, password,
for example:! -0000, Igarin.gicp.net, tracker, trac

@alexthefifth Yes, you can check some info (such as -Temperature, Internal Battery Voltage, Car Battery Voltage) via the USB cable only and the MT600 can not sending the data to the server, If need the MT600 Plus is better.

Currenly onnly Mictrack new device MT825/MT821 support OTA, the MT600/MT600 Plus/MP90 do not support OTA.

Thanks,
Mictrack

I've got a MicTrack MT600-L for use in a helicopter.

The format of the data message it sends, looks different from the other examples I read in this topic.

This is an example of the message I get:

860425043593118$065837.00,A,5200.5058,N,00425.1255,E,,10.36,59.8,220620$065838.00,A,5200.5038,N,00422.1255,E,,10.36,59.8,220620$065839.00,A,5200.5038,N,00422.1255,E,,10.36,59.8,220620

So it looks different from the other TLT2H messages in terms of:

  • There are no # signs
  • There are no new line delimiters
  • There is no GPRMC text
  • Attributes missing

What does this mean? Should I go about implementing a new decoder? Or does this maybe mean I have old firmware? Or is the MT600-L not supported?

Thanks so far.

Do you have protocol documentation?

Mictrack4 years ago

Hi Roeland,

The MT600-L is 4G TLE Tracker special for low altitude flight tracking, so the protocol is different do not compatible with Traccar, the protocol is:

@Anton Tananaev: I created a pull request to add support for this: https://github.com/traccar/traccar/pull/4546.

hi @mictrack,

i would tried to configured por each 5 minutes, so, the command is #805#0000#300#1##

because i configured like this but it my platafform send me each 5 seconds.

do you know why?

Mictrack3 years ago

If so that may something is wrong because our device support min is 10 seconds and does not support 5 seconds.
Can you send us the original report data and we will check the report status?

Hello,

We have approx. 30 MT600-A units and some have started failing with this error after a few months:

"GSM LOGIN erro"

This is seen when connected by USB
The device does not send data. One 1 LED is on, "SYS" solid blue

We have tried resetting to factory defaults by sending "RESET" command via USB and re-programming using ETS, 801, 802, 803, etc, QTS

We know the APN is correct and the SIM card is ok (we test same configuration and same SIM card in other MT600 and it works without issue)

Could you please let us know how we can troubleshoot

Mictrack3 years ago

Hi Alex,

Our engineers have contacted you and found the devices were sold in 2017 and send you the guide to fix them.
If still fail please send it back to us to check.

Thanks,
Mictrack

Dear Anton,
After successful installation of my "own" Traccar server on my Raspberry Pi 4, I was very enthusiastic about the Traccar GPS platform. So I bought an Mictrack MT600 Plus E tracker.
This device is working fine except for some alarms.

In the log files of Traccar I saw the following (HEX translated) messages: (I am very convinced that you know the MT600+ protocol)

Door open:

#864450040052542#MT600+#0000#0#1#154#39#0#AUTOLOW#1
#0008a60521$GPRMC,203243.00,A,5125.6609,N,00525.3515,E,1.07,,050321,,,A*4D
##

Door closed:

#864450040052542#MT600+#0000#1#1#154#39#0#AUTOLOW#1
#0008a60521$GPRMC,204443.00,A,5125.6723,N,00525.3978,E,0.87,,050321,,,A*4B
##

As you can see on position number 4 the door-status is clearly changing from "0" to "1" but no E-mail notification is received on my mobile phone while all alarms of position 9 (AUTOLOW) are all transmitted via E-mail to my phone.
(Note that in the enquiry field some of these alarms are just called "alarm" while in the excel report they got all proper names like low battery or power cutoff, etc.)

For the door-status alarm I have double checked all my E-mail notification settings and I am quite convinced that those are correct. (as well under the general settings as under the device settings). I guess this will need some "computed attributes" work?

Do you have an advice in this matter?

Further it is my goal to configure my E-mail notifications in such a way that when the temperature in the space around the MT600+ has dropped below 5 degrees Celsius, I will receive an E-mail notification . (I have a temperature sensor available for the MT600+)

I would really appreciate if you could give me an example for such a settings in "computed attributes" for that application.

Thanking you in anticipation, with kind regards, Raoul

Anton,
For your information a small copy of my excel report:
(I wonder why detailed alarm names are not all in the same column? For instance ignitionOn and ignitionOff are all under "Type", while all other details are under "Attributes". My E-mails only show the names as mentioned under "Type")

Dear Anton,
Since 8 days I am trying, experimenting and studying the Documentation and Forum but I cannot find any solution.
The problem of my Mictrack MT600+is as follows:
All preset alarm Notifications work well (for instance ignition, online, offline, powercut and SOS) except for the Door lock/unlock alarm.
So I made a "Computed Attribute" for door alarm ( door ? "lock" : "unlock) which works fine on its own (the question mark test in the Computed Attribute field gives correct results).
As soon as I add this alarm to the general Notification list and to the device notification list, the SOS alarm notification stops to work. The ignition and power cut alarm notifications however continue to work well.

The same applies for the temperature alarm: as soon as I add this as a Computed Attribute (temp1 <6 ? "tempalarm" : "tempok") to the Notification list, the Door alarm and SOS notifications stop working. (also for the temperature the question mark test in the computed attributes field gives correct results)

In fact the alarm settings work well, as can be seen in the Status pane were temperature values are changing and door status is changing, but they do not generate alarm Notifications any more.
Could you possibly tell me in which direction to look for a solution?

I would really appreciate to receive some hints.
Note that the log files do not show any failures!
