Traccar 2.12

Version 2.12 of Traccar GPS tracking server is available for download. It is a minor release, so it doesn't include any new big features except for the addition of support for some popular GPS tracking devices.

This version adds support for the following new protocols:

• XT013 - another Chinese GPS tracking device
• AutoFon - popular Russian tracking device brand
• GoSafe - big international manufacturer from China
• AutoFon 4.5 - protocol for StarLine devices
• BCE - Lithuanian manufacturer of GPS/GLONASS equipment
• CalAmp - one of the biggest GPS tracking device manufacturers in the US
• MTX - protocol for MTX Tunnel GPS device

Other notable changes:

• Added a 64-bit installer for Windows
• Logs now include connection identifiers
• Updated database and network libraries
• Various fixes and improvements for existing tracking protocols

The most important change in this release is the addition of support for the CalAmp LMU communication protocol. Many people were asking to add support for it and now the manufacturer has officially allowed us to publish the decoder as part of the Traccar open-source project.

Since the last release some preparations have been done to switch from the old GWT-based web interface to a new, faster and better JavaScript web interface. Hopefully it will be finished soon. Subscribe to get the latest news and updates.
