Traccar GPS tracking server version 3.6 is now available for download.
This release brings major long awaited features to Traccar server:
Geofencing is one of the most important features in GPS tracking. It allows to detect when tracked object entering or exiting a geo-fence. This activity could trigger an alert to operator or specified user email address. It's possible to specify polygon or circle geo-fencing zones. Each geo-fence can be linked to specific users, devices and groups.
Each user can choose to receive notification about various events. Notifications can be configured to be sent via web interface, email message or both. To receive email notifications, server administrator or user has to configure email server details. Following notification types are available at this point:
There have been some changes to commands on the web interface side. Now available commands for a particular device/protocol are determined automatically and only allowed options are presented to the user.
As usual new version contains a lot of fixes and improvements for existing protocols and features, as well as following new protocols:
