Traccar 6.15

Traccar GPS server version 6.15.x is now available for download.

Notable changes in this release:

• Added a geofence crossing event, triggered when a device enters and exits a geofence within a short period of time.
• Improved combined reports with a number of fixes and refinements.
• Added icons for events by type, making them easier to distinguish at a glance.
• Map layers can now be toggled on and off, with support for multiple overlays at once, plus additional map layers covering China.
• Reports are now streamed directly to the client instead of being buffered entirely in memory, reducing memory usage on large queries.
• Added an upper limit on the number of positions returned in report output to avoid excessive memory usage.
• The server now terminates its own process when it runs out of memory, preventing it from getting stuck in a broken state that previously required a manual restart.
• Added timeouts for calls to external services, such as geocoding, to prevent the server from getting stuck when a service is unavailable.
• Notification sending is now asynchronous, so it no longer blocks other processing.
• A number of security fixes.
