I have tested the Seaworld S11 Mini GPS Tracker with Traccar and encountered an issue with the location updates. When the device is in motion, it does not display the correct moving path. Instead, the location frequently jumps to incorrect positions outside of the actual road.
Upon reviewing the Seaworld protocol documentation, I found the following note:
"5. After establishing a normal connection, the terminal will send a combined information package of GPS and LBS to the server after the GPS information changes, and the server may set a default protocol for transmission by using commands."
I suspect that the LBS (cell tower) location might be causing this issue.
Is there a way to ignore or filter out LBS data and use only GPS data? Do I need to send any specific commands to the device to achieve this?
Why dont you first look at the server log file for what position data is received?
even using original whatsgps platform those devices will jump around i ordered 50 samples they all had that issue, as well as the battery swells up and open the top plastic, i do not recomend it
