Solid tracker with GPS & external temperature sensor reading

Hello!,

I was about to pull the trigger on a Teltonika FMC001 to monitor a truck. I have better feedback from Teltonika than the no-name Chinese alternatives.

The requirement is:

  • To get GPS location
  • Get as much information via OBD-II as possible
  • don't mess with power circuit cabling
  • (new) Monitor the refrigerated compartment temperature. Preferable from the refrigeration head unit at the cabin.

Given the new requirement I received, it seems the FMC001 is not the best option.

What other devices can you recommend?

Maybe have a look at the Teltonika FMC003 and bluetooth temperature and humidity sensor
