I want to use Traccar to track a vehicle. I ordered a Teltonika device on Amazon but to my disappointment it is locked with a password when connected with Teltonika configurator and the seller TruTrak does not provide the password, so it is of no use I assume.
I see the Freematics devices are suggested, but this is not really what I am looking for. I think any tracker that has anything to do with the OBD port will be very quickly located. My idea is to place it in a location which is very tricky to access even once located.
Does anyone have any suggestions of 12v, 4G, with battery, supported trackers available easily in the UK? I am reluctant to order any other supported models without knowing for certain whether a similar lock is in place. I am sure there is lots on Aliexpress but looking to get something sorted quicker.

I've bought unlocked Teltonika FMC920s in the UK with no problem. Just search around.
They work well once you've figured out the configuration.
