Traccar Manager lets you view and manage tracking devices on a configured Traccar server. It is provided by Tananaev Solutions, identified in our Terms of Service. For privacy questions, contact support@traccar.org. Our main Privacy Policy also covers support and hosted services.
The app loads your selected server's web interface. Login details, account changes, device information, and other information you submit are sent to that server. It returns the locations, events, reports, and other data your account is authorized to access. The server also receives connection information such as your IP address.
The server may be operated by us, your organization, or another provider. Check its address before signing in; the default may point to a Traccar demonstration server. The operator controls server-side processing, access, and retention. Its privacy notice applies to that processing, and we cannot delete information held by an independent operator.
The web interface may load maps or other external services configured by the operator. Those providers receive the connection and request information needed to serve their content.
The app stores its server address, session cookies, login tokens, and web-interface data on your device to maintain settings and access. Files you choose to upload are sent to the server; downloaded reports may remain on your device.
With permission, the web interface can access your current location for features such as displaying your position on the map. Manager does not itself perform Traccar Client's background location reporting. Notification permission allows alerts to appear on your device. Where biometric sign-in is available, the operating system handles authentication; the app does not receive your fingerprint or face data.
Google-enabled builds use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications. A notification token is provided to your server, and Google processes delivery identifiers and notification payloads. On iOS, delivery also uses Apple's push notification service. Depending on server configuration, notifications can contain device names, event details, or other tracking information and may appear on your lock screen.
These builds also include Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand app usage and diagnose errors. They process app interactions, installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, and crash diagnostics. This processing is separate from the data held by your tracking server. Features differ in builds without Firebase.

You can sign out, change servers, manage permissions and notification previews in device settings, or uninstall the app. Turning off notifications does not necessarily stop diagnostics while the app remains in use. Local web data can be removed through app-data controls where available; downloaded files may need separate deletion.
Signing out or uninstalling does not delete server records. Request access, export, or deletion from the server operator. Diagnostic retention depends on the Firebase service and configuration; contact us about diagnostic or support information we process.
Our Privacy Policy explains applicable privacy rights, legal bases, and how to contact us or a data protection authority. Use a trusted server with HTTPS; HTTP connections do not encrypt data in transit. Protect your device and only access data you are authorized to use.
Contact us about suspected unlawful collection involving children. We will publish updates here and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
