Is the card working in a phone? Is the pin disabled? I've a free card from "Kaufland mobil" with an activated "Messaging-Option" for free, which is working great. Do you have an antenna connected to the ZX908? I think it comes without one..., therefore i've ordered an ZX905 (also more bands and 2G) with the antennas.

I've no waking problem, the tracker wakes up on movement... i'm still on testing, how long the battery (2000mAh) works...
The card works great with a Phone. An Antenna is also connected. In the manual someone posted was described that the yellow LED is for the working conditions of the SIM. The SIM I have works great with 4G in a phone with deactivated PIN.
If your phone or family have a different simcard provider. Then test with those simcards with pin disabled to see if you get phone signal.
From gps watches i noticed that not all simcards ard supported even when they work in a phone. Best is to test with a simcard from major providers.

Also an easy away to test the phone signal in the device is call the phone number.
I´ve tested T-mobile and it doesn´t work. A friend had Congstar and it doesn´t work as well. I moved over to 1&1 (Telefonica) and have no problems with it.
STA# also doesn´t work for me .
The only issue is, as mentioned before, my 908 won´t send lat/lon to traccar after re-awake. Maybe 905 work´s better

I´ve ordered a 905 yesterday...
I had the same problem with the 908, it doesn't wake up after sleep and I couldn't get the 905 to communicate with the traccar

I've ordered a second ZX905 and another "Kaufland mobil" card and will report on arrival the setup here...
I encountered a new problem. After sending some SMS to my 908 it doesn´t respond anymore. The SImcard works normally in cellphones but the 908 seems to be blocked.
Did someone got the same problem?
Hi, the next ZX905 arrived yesterday and the additional "Kaufland mobil" card today... i've registered the card, disabled the PIN, activated the "Messaging Option" and sucessfully connected the device with the card with my traccar server... will show you some logs, pictures and the SMS commands with the responds tomorrow.

first SMS to the tracker to test the network connection:

next SMS to setup the correct APN:

check, if the device is connected to 365GPS:
works, IMEI is shown, sim card number also, coordinates are around my location (tracker is inside the house near a window)

It seems like the SIM card is not working. The yellow LED is constant on. It's a micro Sim from Congstar (Germany a Telekom daughter) what's the requirement for a good SIM?
