Groups to hide devices - not working?

Hello --

I wanted to (temporarily) hide a few devices from my users - so as an admin I created a new group and put the devices in there.

The funny thing is that the users still can see the devices in the web GUI, although they do not have access to the group. The group in the device is shown as a number to the users (I'd assume it's the group ID, and the users can't see the name since they are not in that group).

Am I doing something wrong here, or is this a bug?

if before you create the group the users were allowed to view, you will have to enter the permissions per equipment and exit deactivating.
if you make a new user, then yes it will work what you want.

Following:
1 - go to users and select the desired user
2 - Open the devices you can reach.
3 - Uncheck the devices that you do not want to be seen.

If you want it to appear again, mark it in groups.

@jackson alves, thanks for replying, but I am confused.

If I log in as an admin, and check out the users, I can select the user's groups - I cannot seem to select devices on a per-user basis. How would I go about unchecking devices?
If I am logged in as a user, I cannot see the group that admin has created, however I can still see devices that are assigned to that group.
