I have been using the Traccar manager on my Android phone, connected to my own server which worked fine.
However, I have replaced the server so it now has a new ip address. I cleared the cache for the app and even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it still keeps trying to connect to the old server and will not ask me for the new server address.
How to I tell it to forget my old server so I can enter the address of the new one?
You need to clear app data, not just cache.
I have cleared both app data and the cache but still no change. However I have now got it working. It seems it needs the following order of events...
Close the app completly
Force the app to stop from the apps settings
Clear the app data
Restart the app.
