Use:
GPX2KML
It's free.
Even if you already have a KML wich does not show the track/route in Traccar, convert your file first back to GPX format with GPX2KML and then again to KML.
Then the KML file will have the right format to show on Traccar.
Also you can convert Waypoints(markers).
Thank you for your reply Klaas, I have tried this that you have mentioned. This still does not show the markers I plot using the route mapping software. Software I have used google maps, ride gps and Bikemap. The route shows everytime just not the placemarkers.
I have managed to get yellow marker pins with limited information on them, Is this what is supposed to happen Klaas?
Yes, Yellow pins are default for markers.
It is possible to change that, but that will be a next challange :-). Then you have to edit the KML file manually.

could anyone point me in the right direction to a program or sofware I can produce a kml file that will show the route and markers on the traccar system. I have always used google maps and ride gps but they do not export the markers only the route. Thank you.
