BSJ KG12 using Huabao protocol randomly reports ignition ON/OFF while vehicle is parked

Hi everyone,

I have a BSJ KG12 device using the Huabao protocol with Traccar.

I noticed the device sometimes randomly reports ignition ON and OFF events even when:

  • the vehicle is completely parked,
  • the engine is off,
  • and nobody is inside the vehicle.

This creates incorrect ignition events and trip records in Traccar.

I would like to ask:

  • Has anyone experienced similar behavior with BSJ KG12 or other Huabao devices?
  • Could this be related to ACC wiring, voltage fluctuation, sleep mode, or firmware behavior?
  • Is there any recommended device configuration or Traccar setting to prevent false ignition events?

Thank you.

This is a data retransmission. When there is no network, the data will be stored in the device first, and when the device is connected to the network, the data previously stored in the device will be retransmitted.

Thank you for the answer
But during that period the connection between device are not lost and data has been all sent to server success with any pending or store locally in device

You can check log and event time in hex what difference will be.

I did check it same as real event and event time also correct

I did verify the events, and they appear exactly like real ignition events. The event timestamps are also correct.

One more thing I can confirm is that these are false events because after I stop the engine, a proper ignition OFF event is already created normally.

However, after I leave the vehicle and nobody is inside anymore, these random false ignition ON/OFF events start occurring.
