Cannot see command reply

Hello, I'm new on traccar.org and I'm trying your platform but there is something not clear for me!
I'm using gt08s as device (meiligao protocol).
I have two questions:

1. If I try sending a command I cannot receive response!! I tried (as suggested in another post in this form) to go in settings->notifications and I added "command result" as notification but I not get results in any case... how is it possible?
2. I want to send a custom command, should I send just real command or complete one with device id and so on? (for example in the format:
   "@@<L><ID><xxxxxx><checksum>\r\n"). If I have to send complete command, should I create one command for each device (because, for example, id is different)? Or do we have something like a placeholder that will substitute ID in command?

1. It's not guaranteed that it's supported for a specific protocol.

2. You have to have one for each device, unless Traccar appends that info for you. We don't support placeholders.
