Device expiration field

Hello traccar team,
Could you please explain how device expiration field works?
I expected that when actual date>dev. expiration date , device gets disable but it isn´t so could you?

When device expires, Traccar won't accept new connections from that device. You will still be able to see the data from before it expired.
