Do devices degrade over time?
Perhaps my fault for buying the cheapest devices from China available on eBay, but one device, a TK-like which worked fine a few years ago, are now sending rarely, and appears to do hyperjumps between continents.
Another, in an OBDII-dongle, has also started pausing and is currently parked in the middle of a field.
The third I have always accepted to roam a few km around on the fields, when it is supposed to be parked in the barn with a tin roof but is otherwise working fine while driving or being parked outside.
The devices and their antenna haven't been moved since the original mounting.
