Freematics OBD Feature question

Most forum posts relating to OBD info from the freematics hardware comment on struggling to get data in. (https://www.traccar.org/forums/topic/obd-data/) It may be that the issues they were experiencing were user error, hence why I said I got the impression rather than saying outright.
I think that, combined with the fact I couldn't find any documentation listing supported metrics was leading me to think it was an edge use case which required custom scripts or programming experience, similar to how the user in the above post felt.
I would be delighted if my impressions from this were wrong, and traccar does support OBD data natively.
I also thought making a post to clarify it would be good for people in future who might be doing the same research as me, so if you are able to clarify what is/is not supported that would be great.

Your understand is incorrect. OBD data should be supported for Freematics.
Hi,
I've been considering one of the Freematics Traccar Edition units for a while but my research leads me to believe that the traccar server does not fully support all of the data the unit is able to send.
The github for its firmware (https://github.com/stanleyhuangyc/Freematics/tree/master/firmware_v5/telelogger) states that OBD as well as a load of other metrics from the tracker itself are sent, but I am under the impression that traccar does not support receiving and displaying these.
Can someone please explain what data is supported/what is not?
