I have just purchased an FMB122 and this has a USB COM port, previous trackers I have had I can configure via USB without having any other power source (e.g. wired into a vehicle). I just plugged a new FMB122 via USB into my computer and nothing is registered, I have tried two machines and two different cables, the drivers are installed.
Just wanted to see if this was a faulty device, or it needs another power source.
Besided the USB cable (which is only for data), you need to connect it to 12V as well (same as for FMB125)
