Geofence selection” field missing in notifications
There's no geofence filed for notifications. What made you think it should be there?

I thought there should be a geofence field in notifications because in Traccar Manager, when creating a geofence and setting notifications, I expected to be able to directly select the zone for enter/exit alerts.
Since I couldn’t see any option to choose the geofence, I wasn’t sure if I was missing a setting or if it was a feature that should exist.
Could you please advise the correct way to configure notifications so that users can receive alerts when a vehicle enters or exits a geofence?

It's already there.
We are facing an issue with geofences on Traccar.
Geofence exit and geofence enter notifications are no longer displayed for users, even though they are correctly configured.
Also, geofence exit and enter reports do not appear in Reports > Events, even after selecting the correct devices and event types.
Could you please advise:
- why these notifications are not showing anymore?
- and why geofence events are missing from the Events report?

If events are not generated, that would explain why there are no notifications. Why - that's hard to say without debugging the problem.

Thank you for your response.
We understand that if no events are generated, notifications will not be triggered.
However, the issue is that geofence enter/exit events are not being generated at all, even though:
- geofences are correctly created and assigned to devices,
- notifications are configured,
- devices are sending positions normally,
- and vehicles clearly cross the geofence boundaries.
No geofence events appear in Reports > Events either.
Could you please advise what we should check to debug this?
For example:
- specific logs to look at,
- configuration parameters,
- or known limitations (geofence size, H2/PostgreSQL, etc).

- Have you tried recreating it?
- Try disabling any remote configuration, like geocoding, forwarding, notifications etc.

Yes, I have already tried restarting the server.
I am currently running Traccar version 6.11.1.
I have also recreated the geofences and the two notifications (geofence enter and geofence exit).
However, up to now, I still do not receive any notifications, and I also do not see any geofence enter/exit events in the Events section or in the reports.
I have tried disabling remote configurations like:
geocoding
forwarding
notifications
But the issue remains the same.
At the moment, geofence entry and exit events are not generated at all.

Hello everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with Traccar that I can’t seem to resolve.
I have created several virtual geofences on the map (e.g., BASE BANKITRUCK, PORT SPIC).
I have assigned devices to the zones (all trucks).
In Settings → Notifications, I selected the type Enter geofence and/or Exit geofence.
I checked both on Web and on the mobile app, but I still do not see the “Geofence selection” field to choose the zone.
I have already verified:
All devices are assigned to the zones.
My user account has Geofences permissions enabled.
The zone is visible on the map and correctly drawn.
I don’t understand why the field to select the geofence is not appearing.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?
Is there an additional configuration required, or is this a known bug in Traccar?
