Has anybody worked out device status based on ignition state

I am looking through the code and trying to workout where I get get this to happen.
Has anybody done this or have any ides please

It would be a cool feature or if the color of the devices changes to green when there is movement.
Perhaps a feature on each device where one can set it to one or the other
