How do the traccar Api authenticates the User and communicates effectivelly with other web

Give me details over above mentioned subject , as i am going to connect my fleet management web app with traccar for tracking and reporting purpose so how authentication and authorization done for Api access, Also tell me about Webhooks for push and pull the data from traccar for periodic data access and update
