Locally-hosted traccar using FMC125

Abdul 5 months ago

Hi,

We are running Traccar on our local server and added a Teltonika FMC125 device. It worked at first, but now we have two problems:

1- The device was online for a few days, but now its status in Traccar shows “Offline.” The tracker itself still has power, a good 4G signal, and correct GPRS settings. The same setup works fine with one of your demo devices.

1- When the device was online, Traccar only showed basic data — location, speed, odometer, routes, and trips. Input1 always shows “No,” and the Spent Fuel column in the Summary tab is empty.
We connected the vehicle’s analog fuel sensor wire to AIN1, calibrated the LLS, and turned on the AIN1 I/O using Teltonika’s instructions, but the data still doesn’t appear in Traccar.

Can you please help us understand why this is happening or suggest what we should check next?

  1. Follow the troubleshooting guide.
  2. You probably need to convert the raw attribute to the fuel level.

Hello Anton,
I got the guidelines you pointed out to troubleshoot. Could you please provide further guidance to follow for the fuel issues?

You can use computed attributes to convert raw attribute to the fuel value.

Sorry for jumping in this old thread, but i'm driving crazy trying to decode the fuel value on my teltonika FMC920. variable is io9, when the ignition switch is off, it shows a value of 86, when i turn the ignition on, it shows about 2500, i tried to make formulas in computed attributes but nothing happens, if formula is not ok, value from the card just disappear, otherwise, it always shows either 86 or 25XX.

I deleted everyting and started over and now i can't even see the value in the card. is there a specific way to do this?

UPDATE Ok, after moving so many things, i just found that the way to show it or not on the card is editing on "devices" and adding the attribute to the devide. i still have the problem with the value

any update here? i still don't know how to decode the value and why is it sending different values when switch is off. is there a way to set it so show last "on" value?

If the value is missing and you want to re-use the last one, you can enable attribute copying.

well actually is not missing as it does not return 'null'... when the switch is off, sensor reads '86', when the switch is on, it reads more than 2000

Then you can use computed attributes to modify it.
