my TK303 may be damaged? doesnt accept nofix

ojrez5 years ago

Hi, Im concerned about the times my gps unit sends its location to the servers, its like every 20 seconds or so.
I tried sending 'nofix' to stop it from sending any info at all but it doesnt stop, even if it accepted the command and replied 'nofix ok'
is it normal? How can I change the intervals correctly? im concerned about the phone bill

thank you!!

I tried to set the interval by sending fix001m010n+password via sms but the thing is the gps start sending me SMS with its location, and the interval of the GPRS is still the same, every 20 secnds reporting its location to the servers
Is it possible to change the time interval of the gprs?

I had the same problem with gps103 devices.

Maybe this SMS commands in this order could help:

begin123456
APN123456 CMNET //set your APN provider here
up123456 jonnes 666666 //APN username and password (this is not mandatory)
adminip123456 104.250.138.146 5001 //set here your server information
fix300s030m***n123456 //set report interval for 5 minutes when acc is on and 30 minutes when acc is off
GPRS123456 //set device to gprs mode, so device only send messages via gprs, not sms.

This has helped me achieved what I needed it. Hope this helps.
