Question: Live tracking not needed, just need to export to server at the end day

Hello,

We are a newspaper group and would like to track our circulation deliveries a ping time of under 1 minute is preferred so we can make sure we track every single street our drivers go down. We would then export/import from their device to a server where we can print reports proving saturation of our product.

We used to be able to use GlobalSat DG-200 devices for this but we can no longer find them.

  1. any tips on a device tracker like this where we can connect via usb and export daily?
  2. Would this work with a Traccar server?

  1. Unfortunately I can't recommend anything because Traccar is designed to work with devices that transmit data live over network.

  2. You would have to have some script to import data into Traccar.
