It's definitely feasible. At the very least we have Globalstar protocol that handles some satellite based devices. Don't know specific models though.

Hello everyone, im trying to find the best sattelite gps devices that can integrate well with Traccar. anyone has any good experience with a certain device and can reccomend?
what im trying to do here is track different teams in areas with no GSM access, and im hoping to get a live gps tracking of them using sattelite trackers. is this feasable ?
