my domain is already having ssl and on that vps , i have installed traccar , will that same ssl certificate work for traccar ?
Yes, it should work but you must setup apache configuration . Please check the official documentation that Anton posted how to configure traccar with https.
server stopped when i try to run sudo a2enmod ssl commad , apache stopped.
Did you checked apache logs for errors
