We are device manufacturer/distributor in the Benelux. I would like to know what Traccar requires to add a new device type/protocol.

Basically there are 3 options for adding new protocols in Traccar:

  • You can do it yourself if you have developers that has required skills.
  • We can implement it on paid basis. Send an email to support address to discuss it if you are interested.
  • We implement some protocols for free if they are popular or somehow really important.
