Hi,
I just discovered Traccar and I'm personally interested in using it to keep track of my trips and fuel consumption.
I searched this forum for compatible OBD II dongles, but I didn't really find answers to my questions.
I found the Teltonika FMB003, which is really small; it would be perfect, but it's only compatible with 2G, and in Europe it won't be available until the end of 2025 or 2026 (depending on the carrier). Are there other similarly small alternatives for 3G or 4G? How can I be sure the device will display fuel data? My vehicle seems compatible with the Teltonika FMx003; I should have the remaining fuel in % and in liters. But I'd like to be sure...
Thanks in advance for your answers,
neph.
I think the question is more about your vehicle and whether it reports this info.
@Anton Tananaev : You are right, I have a Peugeot 308 II (T9) from 2013. Normally this information is available via OBD2.
By the way: I have a Vgate iCar Pro ELM327 OBD2 dongle with Bluetooth 4.0. Is there no iOS app or API to send ODB2 data to a Traccar server? Because I will be the one and only driver of the vehicle, so there is no need to use a device with a SIM card, I always have my iPhone with me.
Thanks.
There's no Traccar app that can do it, but maybe there are some third party apps.
