Device saying offline but logs show a connection

Texcela year ago

Hi all.

Hoping someone may be able to assist. I have the Traccar software installed, have an Intercel eSam router connected to it. I am seeing GPRMC data being entered into the log file but the device still shows as Offline.

My guess is this is an identifier issue. But any assistance is greatly appreciated.

m7720 is the what I have set as the identifier, this is prepended to the packet header, see attached image.

I see multiple issues. There's no $ before GPRMC. I'm also not sure what "E,A,V" means at the end. And lastly, there's no line break.

Thanks Anton. I have modified the Packet Header for the $. The E,A,V I cannot help with as that is embedded in the Firmware. I may be able to get this sorted.

What do you mean by no line break?

Anton Tananaeva year ago

Line break is expected as a delimiter.

Where would this need to be? I do have access to the developers of the device Firmware, I may be able to get them to assist.

Usually at the end of each message.

Thanks Anton. I will see what I can sort out with the developers.

Anything else I should mention to them?

You can ask to clarify what "E,A,V" mean.
