GOOOOOD NEWS, I finally got some time to test traccar v9.3.2 on the highest accuracy with distance set to 10 meters and fastest update of 3 seconds, wake lock on and stop detection enabled, interval was off and angle was also off . This is to test its limits and test to see if it updates in real time and consistently and indeed for a 30 minutes walk it sent a post request with the updated location once every 10 meters indeed.
will keep testing it over the upcoming couple of days before officially celebrating :D . but so far it looks promising
what I still need to test, battery usage on the highest accuracy while stationary. consistency of updates while driving and cycling. Different accuracy modes. interval updates. how reliable is the stop detection.
I'd like to take this moment to thank you Anton, for the insane effort you must have put to try and fix all of these issues within the past week and truly listening to the community.
Yes, I am on version 9.4.0 and it work perfectly just as intended for move mode operation. Thanks Anton for the great effort. Awaiting it to be released to PlayStore soon.
Excellent news, which repository is the source code for this version in?
This version 9.4.0 is not in the official repository, the available version is 9.3.1, I installed it and there is no option for maximum accuracy
It is in the official repository. It is not released.
