Hello all,
I've been using Traccar since 2018 for my kilometer declarations, and it's been doing a great job. I created an Excel sheet that converts locations into addresses and added a sort of geofence to determine whether a trip is private or not.
In February this year, I upgraded my TrueNAS server to a Proxmox environment and installed the latest version of Traccar (6.7.1). Yes I was a bit lazy with updates in the past, but better late than never ;-)
The device data was read correctly, and I could see the track for that day, so in my opinion everything seemed to be working fine.
However, when I now generate a trip report, I noticed the trips are being combined (sort of), which seemed strange to me. I searched the forum and found www.traccar.org/trips-stops. I followed the instructions and added the parameters to the Traccar config file. Later I realized that might be the "old way" so I also added them as device attributes.
After testing various values I didn’t see any difference. I did notice though that the trips for today or yesterday are shown correctly (even without adding the parameters). But when I generate a report that spans more than one day, things go wrong. Interestingly, if I generate a report from (say) 3 weeks ago for just one day, it looks fine.
What am I missing here?
I hope someone can help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Dirk-Jan
We are in the same page.
Can only watch or ask trips for a day or two, then all goes bananas.
You should try adjusting report.fastThreshold
configuration parameter.
Thank you Anton, I've changed the parameter and now it works !
Indeed, thank you very much.
