So what are the results of the troubleshooting quide from rhis website?
Thanks for replying. The troubleshoot tells me I did everything correctly. I’m lost now.
Heb je die tracker al getest met een normale simkaart bv kpn met data. En gechecked of de server port bereikbaar is via internet met een port checker ?
Tell us every troubleshooting step you did and the result.
Thank you for the replies. It is funny to see Trac-trace figured out I'm dutch. --must be the phonenumber :) I'm sure--
Okee. The final status is that is is working. Here are a few of my attempts:
-As stated before I used these commands to connect to the demo server of germany with a sim from Keepgo. I had to set the apn and the ip and port of the server for my tk915-4gsa. It uses the watch protocol so it needs port 5093. This was done using another sim wich could recieve sms. And eventually the servicedesk of Keepgo sent the commands also. In the app I tried adding the IMEI and also the ID the tk915 gave me.
the sms codes:
APN123456 plus
ADMINIP123456 188.245.151.94 5093
GPRS123456
TIMER123456 180
ADMIN123456 +31xxxxxxxx
None of my attempts worked.
-So I tested with two other sims with the correct apn set. None of the sims had a pin and roaming is working. Al the sims were tested with another device and worked as expected. So I wanted to test the device, and also the traccar app.
-The TK915 worked with Ruhavic with the sim I intended (Keepgo) like a charme
-I installed traccar client on my phone. Added my phone in the app. It didn't work until I deleted the port from the set server in the client app.
-Now I wanted to see of the port 5093 was correct. Maybe something is going on there as I found this on the forum there were doubts about the protocol the tk915-4GSA is using. No luck.
-Finally I tested the IP of the United Kingdom using port 5093.
-YES! That works. :)
One issue over Ruhavik is that it seems to show the wrong battery status. Well that is what is appears to be at first glance. But after a quick search I've found that when the TK915 is in sleep modus the battery status is set to 0% and when waked up it shows the right amount like 89%. So actually this is a non-issue.
Final steps that worked for me:
send the codes to traccar using sms over regular sim:
APN123456 plus
ADMINIP123456 46.101.24.212 5093
GPRS123456
TIMER123456 180
ADMIN123456 +31xxxxxxxx
CHECK123456
add ID number (and not the IMEI) in traccar app
Looks simple. And it is when you know wich server works on your specific device. Next step is setting up my own server.
PS. after sending the codes take out the sim and put in the intended sim from Keepgo (or else the apn is not correct)
Hello. I’ve tried searching the net and forum but can’t figure out why my tk915-4GSA stays offline in the traccar app. I’ve tried adding it with the ID number and also with the IMEI. The sim is from Keepgo. No pin, roaming is set to “on”. These are the commands i’ve sent to the device with help from Keepgo:
APN123456 plus
ADMINIP123456 188.245.151.94 5093
GPRS123456
TIMER123456 180
ADMIN123456 +31xxxxxxxx
But in traccar it doesn’t show up, it keeps on staying “offline”.
Please can someone help me out? Thanks in advance :)
