app is offline or disabled

Hi, I don't understand how to use the new iOS feature "app is offline or disabled, you can still request a one-off location update." Can you help me? Thanks.

Set "command.sender" device attribute to "client" and then you will be able to request location.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried, but... maybe I didn't quite understand how to do it. Could you give me some more guidance?

What didn't work?

sauro2 months ago

nothing happens when I send the command.

Do you want to share more details on what exactly you did?

Sure: I went to settings > computed attributes > new > (attribute) Command + (expression) command.sender + saved. Then, I connected the "Android" device. When I send the command from the web or app manager, nothing happens.

Why would you go into computed attributes? I was talking about device attributes.

Sorry, but I'm not very familiar with this. I'm just trying to understand things. Can you please show me the steps?

Edit device, add a attribute in the attributes section.

Hi, it seems like I'm the only one who wants to use this feature. However, in the latest Traccar server version, when I try to add the command.sender attribute to the device, it changes to "Command Channel." I tried setting the same client, but it doesn't work. Could you let me know if anyone has had problems with this feature and found a solution? Thanks.
