Have you done this: https://www.traccar.org/troubleshooting/
Your device sends AA00
message type which is not supported by Traccar. Do you have protocol documentation?
Hi to all of you and thanks for your help. Before opening this thread, I had already followed the guide suggested by "kaykor", then I arrived to point "5.4" and here I am, looking for support.
I've shutted down my traccar server and started a linux service at port 5009, just to check what's arriving.
I can write received data to a file and attach it here.
In traccar user interface I see the device as online, but without any data (unit Fiat 500):
Here you can find some info of my unit:
Look for text "VT300 (older protocol):" in previous link.
Thanks again and best regards!!! :o)
Hi again. In fact the messages I'm receiving looks very similar to those of meiligao protocol. I've done a study of my messages. You can see the result in here:
Hope it helps. Thanks again in advance and best regards!!
I'm not sure why you are doing study. As I said, the message type that your device sends is not supported yet.
Hi. You also asked for some protocol info, so that's why I tried to figure out how this tracker is working. Anyway, I'll go on using the Orange GPS tracking service, where my device works flawlessly. It looks like traccar doesn't suits to me.
Regards.
I asked for protocol documentation. Without proper documentation we won't be able to implement support for it.
Hi, I think I have a VT300 (port 5009) and I get to see it online in traccar, but I can't see any info related to id (position, etc...).
In the log I see:
Do I have a real VT300? Thanks in advance to all of you and best regards
