Hi,
I have set up traccar with HTTPS as described in https://www.traccar.org/secure-connection/
It works fine, and I would like to disable insecure insecure access to :8082
Question:
- Should I set web.address to use only 127.0.0.1 ? Will that affect the GPS access ports on the public interface (I use 5002) ?
- If it that disables public access to port 5002, will setting a port-forwarding for port 5002 be enough ?
- Do I need to do anything to ensure the android traccar manager and traccar client apps continue working ?
Thank you
I would just close the port in your firewall.
Done what you suggested. Had to reset app data for traccar manager, but it works fine with HTTPS now.
Any other things which might break due to closing the port ?
