Freematics One+ Traccar Edition Not Showing up

Ryan S3 years ago

I just received my Freematics One+ Traccar Edition and tried to test it out using the latest 4.12 server at demo.traccar.org however entering the device ID and verifying I have a good cellular, GPS and IP address from the cellular system, I don't see it registering on the web client. I can see the following....as it appears to fail at LOGIN to the server. This is the default out of the box Traccar Edition Software. Is there a repository where the Freematics One+ Default version of this image is located to look at the code? It's not found in the Freematics GitHub repository and not sure when the last integration test was but with other successful devices working at this demo server, this one out of the box does not. I have verified the Device ID is correct as well as output from the start up log.

What does port 8081 mean? Where did you get it from?

Ryan S3 years ago

That is the default port in the Software that Freematics is sending the tracker data per Stanley. This is his comment from the email he sent for support from his side.
"Port 8081 is the dedicated port for Freematics data format so it couldn't be wrong. "
He sent an email saying that is the dedicated port for Freematics devices. However your site says 5170 is the Freematics Traccar Edition port. For his hub.freematics.com it is correct to send 8081, however the Freematics Traccar Edition out of the box I believe should be sending it to port 5170 instead of 8081 correct? This may be why it's not showing up in demo.traccar.com when I enter the device ID listed on the Freematics device. Sound correct?

Correct.

Sorry I was wrong. Port 8081 is the port for Freematics Hub. :-)
The stock firmware has the wrong port since recent update several weeks ago.
To change the port of your device, you need to compile and upload the telelogger code to your device. The easiest way is using self-contained Freematics Builder which will show you a configuration UI for parameters including server address and port.
Here is a brief guide.
