OBD data
Are you familiar with OBD in general? There is a small subset of parameters that are generic and there is a larger number of parameters that are vendor specific. I've never seen any device that reports things like cruise control and gears. Those are likely vendor specific codes and most devices won't support it out of the box. The beauty of Freematics is that you can implement them if you want because the source code is open, but I'm pretty sure those advanced codes are not supported by default.
Im not an expert but i totally get your point.
My car is able to give the details I mentioned but to be honest I didnt try on other cars.
And absolutely agree on your point about Freematics. I think it has huge potential.
Sadly the documentation, support and community are not at same level.
But hey, I still have some hopes and my interest is only raising.
Wish I knew a bit more of java and programming.
Hopefully with your tips I will achieve something better. ;)
Regarding the events is there any place I can consult to learn how to configure?
