You mean from 4.10 to 5.9 right ?
That's right friend, I currently have 4.10
Well first thing i would do is make a complete backup of the install directory and the database.
Here you can read howto upgrade..
https://www.traccar.org/upgrading-traccar/
But since you are on digital ocean a smart thing to do is create a new account with free credit for two months.
Then make a snapshot of your droplet and restore it in the new account. So that you can test if upgrading works correctly without losing the original install.
I could do it, but Anton does not allow to share contact details, and meaby he would do it for you as a paid service. He deserves the credit for his work.
in fact I saw a script on how to do it in this forum, it performs certain steps automatically.
I'm just afraid to run it and lose all of my users or my GPS that I have.
What would you recommend about this script?

I am currently entering engineering but I am very new.
I would recommend just following the official guide.
somebody could help me?
I am not very experienced in the subject of programming, I have my traccar in digital ocean because I followed the steps on how to do it on youtube. But now I would like to know how I can update my traccar without losing anything about my devices and users or the configuration itself, could someone help me? Or someone who can do it and could support him economically reasonable for his service?
