I am trying to upgrade traccar from 5.7 to 5.8/5.9 but cpu ulitization of mysql is increasing too high for very long time and then upgradation get crashed. I am suspecting that geofenceids field has shifted in 5.8 version from tc_devices table to tc_position might be issue for this. Since I have very small server and position table has too much data so it is getting crashed during updation.
Can you suggest any other way around to resolve this issue???
You are probably right. You can do that migration manually.

I cannot. Look at the changelog and do those changes manually.
