Foxchip4 months ago

Hello,

it is possible to have fuel information with Teltonika FMC003?
the manufacturer says yes but I have no information on details information of the device in traccar

It should be possible. First thing you should verify is if your device is reporting the value. Then if you still don't see it, provide a HEX sample and let us know the parameter id.

Ask Teltonika if you don't know.

it seems to be 84 (*0.1 in liter of fuel) or 89 (in % of fuel) depending of the car compatibility with the device

Hello Foxchip,

  1. Check the parameter ID from Teltonika FMC003 Data Sending Parameters ID.

  2. Verify if your device is sending these parameters. You can click on your device and then select "More Info" in the popup. Check if you see the io## of the parameter, like io205.

  3. After confirming that the device is sending the parameters you need, you can create some calculated attributes to handle the information.

If the device is not sending the parameters, then you might need to activate them in the device's configuration, possibly by enabling Codec 8 Extended as well.

thanks for your help but I already enable Codec 8 Extended and I don't have the parameter on "More info"

Did you enable the IO parameter from the Teltonika configurator?

Foxchip4 months ago

yes on "Low Priority"

Adriano Miranda4 months ago

@foxchip, can you connect to the FMC003 by bluetooth while the FMC003 is connected to the car and then check the real time status of the IO parameter from Teltonika configurator?

Foxchip4 months ago

Sorry I don't know how to do it!

I need a computer with Bluetooth? And should I start the Teltonika Configurator?

Yes, initially, ensure that the Bluetooth functionality on your device is activated. Subsequently, proceed to pair the FMC003 with your laptop by adding it to the list of Bluetooth devices. After successful pairing, connect the FMC003 to your vehicle. Then, launch the Teltonika Configurator on your laptop. At this point, the FMC003 should be visible and available to connect via Bluetooth, allowing you to monitor and check all statuses in real-time.
