The traccar client app works fine for me...
I'm not knocking traccar client, but my experience is that successive OS updates create new settings that break traccar client, and my users have limited skill or interest in keeping it working. At the moment, major problem is that traccar client seems to get knocked out by switching networks between cellular and wifi.
I'll have to try a few devices.

Hi, apologies for repeating a common question, but what's available seems to change all the time.
I'm looking for a good cheap traccar compatible device to be carried by people.
Needs to be 3 or 4g with a battery life of minimum 24hrs with location reports every 5 or 10 mins minimum.
can anyone recommend something?
we've been using traccar client for many years, but I've come to the conclusion that Android/iPhoneOS are never going to let an app like traccar client work as an appliance without constant intervention by the (non technical) users.
