There is no timeframe. By default it shows last 10 positions, but I think it can be configured through attributes.
There is no general "getting stated" documentation, but there are some feature specific docs in Manual section:
Hi Anton,
thanks for your reply. "Atributes" is another example where I would need documentation or at least a few examples...

Tom
Settings > Account > Attributes > Add
Which settings? For device, user, map? And what attribute do I need to see e.g. the last 100 position entries?
Regards,
Tom
I feel like you beginning to abuse my willingness to help here. "Account" option is only present in one "Settings" menu. It's pretty easy to find it without even knowing the system.
OK, I think I got it. User account, properties, select one of the pre-defined entries.
Need to test again tomorrow, no changes for the last 1000 positions...
Regards,
Tom
Sorry again to ask stupid questions, I'm using the german webinterface. The translation is not alway obvious to me.

Tom
With trial&error I found that a speed diagram offers the functionality I was looking for. With this function the user is able to change the timeframe where one is interested in the vehicles movement.
Report-> Diagram -> Konfigure -> Select device, type "speed" and desired timeframe. Check "show markers" if you are interested in discrete positions. (Not shure if my translations from German GUI to English matches 100%).

Tom
I just started playing around with the traccar server. Managed to connect two devices, one TK-103 for testing and one FM-1100 which is installed in one of my cars. Now I have the FM-1100 sending continously its position. I would like to see the last trip I've done on the map to get an idea about the tracking accuracy. How can I set the timeframe for the live route option? And what is the default time frame?
Is there any "getting stated" for the server gui? I mean before trying more complicated stuff like geo fences, events etc. I would like to get a general overview.
Kind regards,
tom
