Why do you think it's a wrong logic? It's not foolproof, but only admin can do it, so it's not something that a dumb user can break.
Sorry I did not mean it like that. Just thought, even an admin can fiddle with it and then they to go the database level to fix it. Wouldn't it be better disabled function was grayed out for admin? It is just dumb user point view sorry.
I think admin should be able to do anything. I don't see much point in restricting anything for him.

You would need to modify database directly and then restart service.
I accidentally disabled the admin account and lost access to the admin functions.
