Build custom reports or report tool

Hi all,

1. I saw the referens to jxls and tried to create a new report with a new name. I dropped it in the Templates-folder, but it was not displayed in Traccar. I'm missing something. Is there any documentation on how to deploy new reports that I can read up on?
2. Or is the only option to edit/modify one of the existing excel templates and not create new ones?
3. If one should go for an external report tool instead, is there a "report api" or such that is recommended? Or just a db connection?

You can't add a new report just by creating a new template file.

There is an API for reports. Have you read API documentation before asking this question?

A short follow up question. How do one add new reports? Is there a documentation or should I stick to the default reports and modify those?
