Well, that's not a GPS tracker, it's just a chip that combines GSM and GPS modules.

Wow so fast! Thanks for the great support!!

Can you recommend any PCIe based logger/Tracker that works with Traccar?

Kind regards

I don't understand what you mean by PCIe based. I haven't heard of any such devices.

That's another chip. It's not a GPS tracking device.

i see ... sorry for wasting your time. Is it possible to send the received gps data with this NMEA Data Logging Utilitie here:

http://nmeautil.sourceforge.net/pc/sourceforge.html

to Traccar?

wilderkaiser8 years ago

hm ... maybe it can be done with OsmAnd ?

Sorry but as i said; i am very new to this. If there is a way with this, can u be hired for a custom work??

I have never seen this utility before. As long as it can send NMEA with some kind of identification, it should be possible to handle it on Traccar side.

As for custom work, send me an email. Address is on support page.

From my point of view this tool is just dumping the NMEA Data (from Virtual Serial Port) as a file to disk.

To use this data on Traccar, it needs a "service/deamon/piece of SW) that just reads the NMEA data, adds the device id and sends it to port 5055 with the OsmAnd Live Tracking web address format?

Am i right? Is this a way?

I´ll send you PN via eMail

If you have raw NMEA data, I would recommend to use this format:

OK :-) seems to be more efficent :-)
