Created battery attribute, cannot show it on device

bonkeyflip20 days ago

Hello, I created the BatteryLevel attribute for my device (value io5, tested and working on my device), added the popup info in preferences, but I cannot get it to show on the device

How can I fix it?

I use that attribute for teltonika, try changing your attribute using io5 that you have configured.

Have you linked the attribute to your device?

I'm not sure I linked the attribute to my device, how can I check? Sorry, I'm new to traccar

Open devices page. Click on the links button and check computed attributes there.

I don't understand why it doesn't show here. Do I have to add it manually?

You're looking in completely wrong place. Please read my previous comment.

You're right, I added now and rebooted traccar server

Still not showing, what am I missing?

Anton Tananaev20 days ago

You need to wait for new data from your device. If it's still missing, either your device is not sending it or something wrong with your expression. I noticed that you haven't actually shown us any proof that your device is sending the IO. Do you want to provide a screenshot for that?

It's the last screenshot of the first post, but I'll send again:

Then it should work. Note that computed attributes will only be calculated for new data, not old.

I let a couple of days pass, the value of io5 changed but still nothing is showing. What am I missing?

Not sure.
