Deactivate any device using deviceId

How can I deactivate any device, means i don't need any location update on server.
But in future I can also enable device for tracking.

For some devices Traccar supports commands to stop/start tracking. Device still has to be connected to the server to receive commands, but it doesn't have to report location.
