Device not going offline

Hi, I am running traccar version 5.1 on a ubuntu server.

I previously registered a device with an unique identifier and it came online.

However when I change the identifier on the device to another invalid identifier the device does not go offline.

What could be causing this?

It's not going to go offline immediately if there's already an active connection.

I have been trying to contact traccar support via this link but the contact us options are not responding.
