Distance negative issue
Ideally you should just use distance reported by the device.
Yes Anton, that’s good for Total distance, however the distance of trip and specific period cannot be achieved by the one that is reported by the device as for the same we might require to create a huge new table..... is their any alternate where this information of distance from device is stored in positions table or elsewhere.....
It works for trips as well. In fact that's the default for trips.
Can you please guide or any link to document as how we can use this.

There have been lot of past discussions on this topic. However distance computation is getting critical. I am using Teltonika FMB920 with config to upload oldest record first to the server and then the other record. Still we find distance variation of 10-20% on an average compared to the actual trip.
Anybody here who has found a patch to resolve this somehow....
All filters as per documents are also set.
