GPS coordinates spikes to another continent

hello,
we are using traccar for a few weeks.
Last week the coordinates for a car show up on another continent.
this causes problems to reports (miles etc etc)

can we correct it ?

Those are zero coordinates. That's pretty common if your device doesn't have a GPS fix. Not a server issue.

hello,
thank you for your reply. Can you please explain in detail ? What is GPS Fix? Is a feature of gps device?
I have Teltonika FMB920AE5M01. Do you know if there is GPS Fix on this device?

No matter what I was wondering if there is a way to delete this zero entry from database ?

A GPS fix refers to the process by which a GPS receiver determines its position by acquiring signals from a specific number of satellites in the GPS constellation. When the receiver has successfully received and processed these signals, it can calculate its latitude, longitude, and sometimes altitude, providing a "fix" on its location. The accuracy and reliability of the GPS fix can depend on various factors, including the number of visible satellites, signal obstructions, and atmospheric conditions.

Hi Msolomos,

In the configurator for the Teltonika devices, under System Settings, you can set the Records Saving/Sending Without TS to After Position Fix.
The device will then only send records if it has a GPS Fix.
